Grading System

The school’s grading system consists of Behavior Academic Report (BAR) and presents initial report about the behavior and the academic standard of the students given to the parents in the middle of the quarter.

The Quarter Report consists of the following marks for each subject:

20 marks for four quizzes.

15 marks for the project.

15 marks for the assignment.

10 marks for the participation.

40 marks for the final quarter exam.

Assessment

The students have two kinds of assessments: formative and summative.

Formative assessments in high school include MAP test in grade 9 and 10 for English, Math, and Science held three times (fall, winter, and spring)

The MAP test measures the student’s academic level in general.

Summative assessments are graded and include the quizzes and 4 quarter exams. The final quarter report is cumulative in all quarters.
